About Us

My passion for fertility care became deeply personal when I underwent IVF myself. I left my hospital position and started working shifts at a local fertility clinic. I began assisting with retrievals and surgeries while simultaneously going through the same procedures on my days off, hoping for a baby. Having experienced the procedures, emotions, and challenges firsthand, I was able to connect with patients in a unique way. I found my own experiences offered patients hope and comfort as well as a genuine understanding during a vulnerable time in their lives. Anyone who has been through this process knows how much it means to have someone truly understand when so many don't.

Through my own IVF journey, I became involved in fertility support groups and quickly recognized a common struggle among patients: administering fertility injections. Many people felt overwhelmed by the process, uncertain about proper technique, and experienced issues such as pain, nerve irritation, and persistent injection-site knots. When I began my own progesterone injections, I developed a system that allowed me to complete 12 weeks of treatment with minimal discomfort and fewer knots.

Those experiences inspired the creation of The Fertility Collective. I realized how valuable it would be for patients and their partners to have personalized in-home guidance from a nurse. Someone who could teach proper injection techniques, provide hands-on support, and help make the process less intimidating.

I also understood the stress of managing injections when life circumstances or schedules made it difficult to rely on a partner or you had to administer them alone.

My goal is to empower patients and their partners with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to navigate fertility injections with less stress and greater comfort. Fertility journeys are stressful enough; having the reassurance that you're administering medications correctly and as comfortably as possible changes everything.

Even with clinic instruction, the reality is that preparing and administering fertility injections can feel overwhelming—especially for those without medical experience. When you book your appointment a fertility nurse not only shows you how to mix and prepare your medication, she educates you and/or your partner on the perfect placement for the injection, administers it, and provides tips and advice to make the injections more comfortable.

Our team is composed exclusively of highly trained fertility nurses who have extensive experience with every fertility medication and protocol.

Whether you want us to come for the first injection to show you exactly how to do it, meet you at work or an event to discreetly help you out, or to come for every injection, we are here for you. You can do this!
